Tim's Heroes

Martin Sexton
The most powerful voice in music....period. Alone on a stage, Martin Sexton can bring an audience of thousands to tears. He can take that same audience and make them jump as if he were one of the greatest rock bands of all time. I constantly refer to Martin Sexton as the most powerful performer alive. Catch one of his live performances at any cost. He will raise your bar for live music forever. Nobody can touch him.

Duncan Sheik
I began seriously teaching myself how to play the guitar in 2001 for no other reason than to play and sing Duncan Sheik's music. Duncan's body of work is enormous, and he is constantly writing and releasing recordings which are as close to sonic perfection as music can be. Someday I'd love to open for him.

The Animators
Accordion, glockenspiel, guitars, and a human beat box are the new recipe for stardom. The Animator's CDs won't leave your player for weeks. These guys are some of the most innovative songwriters and producers anywhere. Devon and Alex are the real deal. Oh yeah, and they produced a couple songs on my debut CD!

David Peters
Before he was one of my best friends, he was known to me only as 'the indie musician with huge string arrangements and captivating electronic production elements'. His production work is the most clean and distinct I've heard from an independent artist. His songs are honest and relatable. Do check this guy out. One the music gets in, it will not leave. David Peters has longevity. He is the MASTER of finesse.

Joel Ackerson
Joel is an incredible songwriter, a flawless guitarist, and one of the most emotional performers you will ever encounter. His lyrics will shake your mind and squeeze your heart. Joel got me into the 'business' of music when I started managing/touring with him in 2004.

Josh Fix
If the voice of Billy Joel, the production of Queen, and the energy of Ben Folds got rolled into one sound, it would be the music of Josh Fix. He may very well be the most extraordinary musician I've ever met. He plays all of the instruments on most recordings. I've heard that he's got over 100 songs written. Josh puts on one hell of a live show too. I can see NO REASON why he is not bigger than Elvis.

Amber Rubarth
If you want original, positive, and smooth acoustic pop sung through an honest set of pipes, follow this link. Amber's feel-good sound is the icing on the cake that is your music collection. She is making waves all over the US. Check out her 2005 release produced by The Animators! You can say you knew her before Rolling Stone found her.

Mouth Reliant
Since early youth, I have been good friends with TW Hansen, the one-man-band that is "Mouth Reliant". We have collaborated on a few songs, and TW did a stellar cover of "Better Than Truth" which is making its way around the vast Interweb. You can get it from his web site if you like.....and you DO like.

Seth Horan
Seth is a rare breed in every way. Seth is a bass playing singer/songwriter. He has played thousands of shows with nothing more than his bass guitar, his voice, and a loop pedal. He doesn't just croon soft pop songs that roll off your skin. He gets funky in ways that rock your insides. Investigate this music. Seth is an astonishing musician and one heck of a human being.
